Overall, it's holiday base for exploring Kyoto attractions. It has both VERY HELPFUL and amicable staff. Plus, the location is nice, minutes from an up-to-date mall. The metro station is 5 minutes walk away. The property offers great prices.

During my recent trip to Kyoto, I had a brief stay at City Gardens Hotel. As a frequent traveler, I appreciated the convenience of this hotel, located just 43 km away from Itami Airport. It was the perfect place for a transit stay, allowing me to easily reach the hotel after a long flight and continue my journey the next day without any hassle.
I did encounter a minor inconvenience during my stay. Upon entering the room, I noticed some dust on the bedside tables, which was a bit off-putting.

The location is exceptionally nice and incredible near bus stops. It is right by a subway line and Kyoto Station. the triple room, despite not looking appealing in photos, is rather big.

The hotel is in a good spot, close to shops, the train station, and main Kyoto station, which is handy when you want to explore the city. the staff was super friendly and helpful, and there's a cozy dining area on the first floor for a quick coffee fix. Even though the room had a faint odor and some street noise, it's still a solid choice for a comfy, budget-friendly stay in Kyoto! 🌸.

We stayed at a hotel near a train station and found it very convenient for transportation during our trip. the room was spacious and larger in comparison to other hotels. We also appreciated the friendliness of the staff.
Some aspects of the hotel could have been better. We experienced some discomfort with the bathroom setup as the toilet and bathtub were installed in the same area.

the hotel is conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station. This was a bonus for me as I couldn't bring large suitcases on the bus. the room was spacious and perfect for our group of 3 adults and 1 child, with three comfortable beds. the hotel is also just a 10-minute walk from JR Tofukuji, making it easy to travel to Fushimi Inari and Nara. there are buses available to Kiyomizu Temple and the Gion district. the vending machine near the reception was a nice touch, offering free tea, coffee, and even onion soup. We also booked the outdoor spa, which was a relaxing treat after a long day of exploring. City Gardens provided a comfortable stay with convenient amenities. Cons: None. 😊.

Despite the dust on the bedside tables, the room was bigger and cozier than other chains, making it perfect for our romantic escape. The friendly staff provided additional coffee and the key location, only 6-8 minutes from the station, allowed us to easily explore the city. The location was also close to a 24-hour laundromat and a convenience store.
Sadly, the rooftop public bath was unavailable as only one group could reserve it at a time. the controls for the room's heating system didn't work, causing the room to be colder than expected.

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, always there when we needed something. Even though the location wasn't the best, we loved being close to TKP Garden City Kyoto and the city center. Exploring the city and hitting up trendy spots was a breeze!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening atmosphere at the hotel. It would have been rad if they had a cool bar or lounge where we could hang out with friends and meet other young people.

We stayed at a nice hotel in Kyoto with friendly and accommodating staff. The value for money was great and the room was comfortable with fresh towels always available. The location was a bit further from Kyoto Station but it was convenient to have a bus stop right outside for easy transportation to popular attractions like Yasaka Pagoda and Sannenzaka.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was a wider variety of options.
